DOR Legislation Information
The Legislative Office is the Department's liaison to the Legislature and manages the Department's legislative program. It represents the DOR before the Legislature, and in meeting with other departments and various community groups regarding legislative issues. The Office tracks state and federal legislation which may impact the Department's programs and consumers. The Office informs the Health and Human Services Agency and the Governor's Office about concerns with or suggestions for legislation that could affect and improve the Department's programs.
