Changing Priority Categories Served Under Order Of Selection (OOS)

DIRECTOR'S DECLARATION CHANGING PRIORITY CATEGORIES SERVED UNDER ORDER OF SELECTION FOR VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES

Whereas, on August 18, 1995, I declared that the Department is under Order of Selection for Vocational Rehabilitation Services and determined that no priority categories could then be served and,

Whereas, on June 30, 1997, I declared that all priority categories that include most severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 16 and above and severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 4 and above shall be served effective July 21, 1997, and,

Whereas, I have reviewed projected resources and project costs, as provided by Title 9 California Code of Regulations, Section 7053.5 and 7052, and determined that projected resources are adequate to serve only priority categories that include the most severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 16 and above,

Now, therefore, I, Brenda Premo, Director of the Department of Rehabilitation, declare that only priority categories that include most severely disabled individuals with significance scale scores of 16 and above shall be served effective May 1, 1998.
