Independent Living Information - The Independent Living Section of the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is one part of California's Independent Living Network. The network is dedicated to the idea that communities become fully accessible and integrated so that all persons with disabilities can live, work, shop and play where they choose, without barriers. DOR administers the program in California and provides technical assistance and financial support for the independent living centers.
Limited Examination and Appointment Program - an alternate examination and appointment process designed to facilitate the recruitment and hiring of persons with disabilities for State Jobs.

Ticket to Work Program in California - The Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act was signed into law by President Clinton to assist and encourage recipients of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) to prepare for and enter into employment.
Transition Partnership Program (RTF) - The Transition Partnership Program builds partnerships between local education agencies and the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) for the purposes of successfully transitioning high school students with disabilities into meaningful employment and/or post-secondary education.
